FAQ
What age does a child start PP1?
Children joining PP1 should be at least 3 years old by January of the year they are enrolling. PP2 requires the child to be at least 4 years old.
Do you offer bursaries or fee reductions?
Yes. BrightStars has a bursary fund for deserving pupils. Applications are reviewed each term by the Board of Management. Contact the accounts office for details.
Which areas does the school bus cover?
Our school buses cover Elgon View, West Indies, Pioneer, Langas, Huruma, Kapsabet Road and Town Centre. Contact the transport office for specific pickup points and times.
When are parent-teacher meetings held?
We hold termly Parent-Teacher conferences at the end of each term when report cards are issued. Parents can also request individual meetings with class teachers at any time.
Is there a uniform? Where do I buy it?
Yes. Our uniform consists of a yellow shirt/blouse, navy blue trousers/skirt and black shoes. Uniforms are available at our school shop or from approved suppliers — details shared at admission.
